CROESO I FLWYDDYN 2!
Croeso i flwyddyn 2! We have so many exciting opportunities and activities planned for this, which I hope will add to the wonderful memories you've built so far at St John Lloyd! We are very lucky to have Miss Williams supporting our learning this year!
Our topic this term is ‘All About Me’. We will be exploring what makes us happy and reading together 'The Tiger That Came To Tea.' We will be creating tiger masks, exploring repeating patterns and organising and holding our own tea party!
Our RE topic is ‘Beginnings' and we will be thinking about our Big Question – Who Made The World and Everybody In It? In addition to this we will develop our ICT skills with a focus this term on staying safe online. We will also continue to develop our Welsh knowledge and our Maths skills will be posted to this page. We will also continue our Rights Respecting Schools Journey learning about our Rights and how they are present all around the world.
It is very important to complete your homework as this will reinforce the learning that happens in class. Bug Club and My Maths will be set weekly.
Please take a look at our School Twitter account to see the wonderful work will be producing in class - @SJLCardiff or https://twitter.com/sjlcardiff?lang=en
I wish you all every success for Year 2 I am really looking forward to working with you all!
Let's have a great term!
Miss Chapman and Miss Williams.
