Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a lovely Easter break!
Our topic this term is ‘Mini Zoo’ and we will be learning about Zoo animals, farm animals and pets. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we cannot visit a farm but we hope to take a virtual tour and also we would love to see photos and videos of your family pets (we met some of them during lockdown during our live lessons). These can be uploaded to Google classrooms via the stream. We will be learning to care for animals and understanding what they need to live and grow. We will also be learning songs about animals and creating our own actions and dances to these.
Our R.E. topic is ‘Spread the Word’ and the children will be learning about the story of Jesus’ Resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. They will be able to talk about and describe ways in which Christians spread the word of the good news of Jesus in their lives.
Maths homework will be put online on a Friday and is linked to the work that the children have been doing in class. Your child has their own individual ‘MyMaths’ login password.
New bug club books will be issued every Thursday. Please read them every day.
PE is on a Friday. Please wear trainers to wear outside.
