Welcome back everyone!
It seems such a long time since we were all together and we are really excited to be coming back to school and welcoming all your children. It’s been a challenging time for us all and it will continue to be so. We know that we have your support and understanding during this difficult time and we hope that we can continue to work together for the benefit of your child. As a staff we believe it is very important to reassure your child if they have any worries or concerns about coming back to school. If you have questions please do not hesitate coming to speak to us. Your child’s teacher this year is Mrs Jones supported by Mrs Smith.
Our topic this term is ‘family album’ and we will be learning about family life in the past. We will be inviting a grandparent to come into school to talk to the children about what life was like many years ago. If your child has any pictures of family members could they bring them into school for our display. We promise to return them.
Our R.E. topic is ‘beginnings’ and the children will be looking at the story of Creation. The children will be able to talk about their experiences and feelings about new beginnings in their life.
Maths homework will be put online on a Friday. Your child will be given their individual MyMaths password in the coming weeks.
New bug club books will be issued every Monday. Please read them every day.
PE is on a Friday. Please also ensure your child is prepared each week with shorts and a t-shirt in a clearly labelled bag.
