CROESO I FLWYDDYN 1&2!
Croeso i flwyddyn 1 and 2! Welcome to the Summer term. our topics this term are 'Growing' and 'All Aboard'
We have an exciting class trip coming up during the 2nd half of the summer term too
We will be implementing the four purposes of the new curriculum for Wales to inform our teaching.
This will allow all children to be:
Our RE branches this term are 'Ends of the Earth' and 'Dialogue and encounter' Our virtues focus for Autumn are: to be eloquent and truthful, thinking about how we can display these virtues at home and in school.
In addition to this we will develop our ICT skills with a focus this term on staying safe online. We will also continue to develop our Welsh knowledge with our daily Helper Heddiw sessions. We will be developing our maths skills and using these to apply in our numeracy work. We will also continue our Rights Respecting Schools Journey learning about our Rights and how they are present all around the world.
Important Information
It is very important to complete your homework as this will reinforce the learning that happens in class.
Each Wednesday a Collins Maths sheet will also be uploaded. This will be based on what your child is learning with their maths teacher that week.
Thursday's are PE day so please can each pupil have a labelled PE bag with appropriate kit in.
