CROESO I FLWYDDYN 2!
We are so excited to start our Spring Term! We have so many exciting opportunities and activities planned for this term, which I hope will add to the wonderful memories you've built so far at St John Lloyd! We are very lucky to have Mrs Shore and Ms Spear supporting our learning this year!
We will be implementing the four purposes of the new curriculum for Wales to inform our teaching.
This will allow all children to be:
Our RE topic is ‘Galilee to Jerusalem' and we will be learning about who Jesus is and how he teaches us about the nature of God through parables and miracles. We will explore the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Our virtues this term are asking us to become ‘Grateful and Generous’. We are growing to be ‘grateful’ towards others near and far, and ‘generous’ in our just actions and forgiving words.
In addition to this we will develop our ICT skills with a focus this term on staying safe online. We will also continue to develop our Welsh knowledge and our Maths skills will be posted to this page. We will also continue our Rights Respecting Schools Journey learning about our Rights and how they are present all around the world.
Please take a look at our School Twitter ‘X’ account to see the wonderful work will be producing in class - @SJLCardiff or https://twitter.com/sjlcardiff?lang=en
We wish you all every success for this Spring term, we are really looking forward to working with you all!
Let's have a great term!
