🎉 This term in Reception... We will be busy little learners! We are going to: 👂 Build our listening skills through songs, stories, and games 🔤 Hear and spot letter sounds as we start our phonics journey 🔢 Learn to count, recognise numbers, and explore early maths in fun ways

🍂 This Autumn in Reception... We are diving into two exciting topics:

✨ Myself — We’ll be exploring who we are, what makes us special, and all the amazing things our bodies can do.

💡 Lights Alive — Get ready to shine! We’ll be discovering light and colour mixing, firework safety, and maybe even spotting some twinkly lights as the nights get darker. It’s going to be magical!

🌍 RE this half term We will be exploring the story of creation — learning how God made our wonderful world and thinking about how we can care for it. We will also be learning to live out our virtues: Eloquent and Truthful.

📲 Stay Connected with Seesaw! We’ll be sharing your child’s learning journey on their Seesaw account — from exciting activities to proud moments and everything in between.

To keep up with what they’ve been up to each day, just scan the QR code to download the Seesaw app. It’s a lovely way to see their progress and celebrate their achievements together!

📚 Homework & Reading Info Homework will be uploaded to Seesaw every Friday — just check the app to see what’s been set for your child.

🧥 Label Those Jumpers! Jumpers love to go on adventures... especially when they all look the same! Please make sure your child’s jumper is clearly labelled with their name so it can find its way back if it goes walkabout.

🍎 Healthy Habits Reminder We’re proud to be a healthy school! Please ensure your child brings a nutritious snack each day, along with water or sugar-free juice to stay refreshed and focused.

🎉 Friday Treats On Fridays, children may bring a small treat as an alternative to their usual healthy snack.
