The class topic this term is Delicious 

Will be exploring the differences between healthy and unhealthy food and how we can look after our own personal hygiene and choosing the right food to eat? 

How will we be developing our skills? 

• Math – Counting Pizza topping and exploring numbers. 

• LLC – Working on our Phonics and communication skills. 

• Look at the importance of personal hygiene. 

• Sequencing hand washing and keep our teeth clean and healthy. 

• Our physical development through our PE lessons, we are focusing on traveling using our body in different ways. 

Our RE topic this term will be focused on bible stories. These include Feeding of the 5000 and let the Children Come to Me.  We will be learning all about God’s beautiful world and how we can look after it. 

This topic will be linked to maths, literacy and science. 

• We will be exploring and the different properties of ice. 

• We will be making our own healthy snacks, following a menu. 

• The difference between winter and summer. 

Let’s make the classroom run smoothly 

Can we please label all the children jumpers, coats, bags and water bottles? 

This will allow the staff to put jumper away in the appropriate bags if the children take them off. 

Can you please provide the children with a healthy snack this could be either fruit or veg with a bottle of water. 

The school will provide the children with milk; they will be encouraged to try the milk but do not have to drink. 

The school has provided a QR code for every child and this will allow you to track your child’s progress through their nursery journey. If you have misplaced the QR code, please see me for a replacement.
